Our Story

At Homoeopathic Foundation Bangladesh (HFB), our story began in 2004 with one clear vision: to make safe, natural, and affordable healthcare available for everyone in Bangladesh. Inspired by the World Health Organization’s call for “Health for All,” a group of passionate doctors, students, and social workers founded what is now the only government-approved non-governmental homeopathic foundation in Bangladesh.

From day one, our mission has been simple — to make homeopathy a trusted part of everyday healthcare. Despite many challenges, HFB has grown into a nationwide network with more than 400 qualified doctors who serve patients with care, compassion, and modern expertise.

Homeopathy, discovered in 1790 by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, is now practiced worldwide — in the USA, Germany, Canada, Australia, India, Pakistan, and beyond. In Bangladesh, where millions still struggle to access affordable treatment, HFB provides hope by reaching people through clinics, satellite centers, free health camps, and education programs.

A government survey once showed that while only 42% of people had access to healthcare, 18% were already turning to homeopathy. This confirmed what we believe: homeopathy is not only effective but essential for serving underserved communities.

Today, HFB stands as a symbol of healing, trust, and holistic care. With support from the government, communities, and partners, we are building a future where quality homeopathic care is accessible to every Bangladeshi — regardless of background or income.

Because at HFB, we treat more than just illness. We treat the person.
